What a whirlwind
of a the past few weeks have been for me. My husband and I celebrated our three year
anniversary, where did that time go? It feels like just yesterday I was walking
down the aisle. This anniversary was pretty special though because it was our
first one that our son was a part of. We went down to where we exchanged our vows and basked in the memories of three years ago - of course while taking a picture or two.
The next day we went to Chicago.
If you’ve never been there before, you should try to go. It
really is a beautiful city that has a lot to offer. We went to Lincoln Park
Zoo, which is a fantastic zoo and you can’t beat the price. It is FREE. Harrison
got such a kick out of seeing the animals, he especially loved the giraffes and
when we got close to them he squealed with delight. We also did the touristy
stuff even though we have seen it plenty of times -Millennium Park, Buckingham
Fountain, the Bean. All things that are a must see if you are in the city.
Just a tip for if you ever do make it to the Windy City. Never ask for ketchup on your hot dog. We WILL look at you funny.
